Burrard Exchange is designed to further transform Bentall Centre into a landmark destination for the next generation.
This groundbreaking 16-storey hybrid mass timber development prioritizes both indoor and outdoor spaces to enhance connections to nature from within the building, along with new street frontages, amenities and retail space servicing the entire campus and the public. It has been designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) as the design architect with Vancouver’s Adamson Associates Architects as the architect of record.
Burrard Exchange will be one of the tallest exposed mass timber office buildings in North America. Wood has a relatively low manufacturing carbon footprint and is the only material that can remove carbon from the atmosphere over the lifetime of its usage.
The project is anticipated to create more than 2,000 direct and indirect jobs.
