Vancouver, British Columbia, May 2nd, 2018 – Building owner Maple Red Financial Management Canada and property manager Canderel are very proud to announce that Towers I, II and III of the Bentall Centre office complex in Vancouver, have achieved LEED Gold® and Tower IV, LEED Platinum®, which represents the highest level of certification.

LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a rating system that is recognized as the international mark of excellence for green building in over 160 countries and territories. The LEED Performance Pathway helps building owners and operators measure operations, upgrades and maintenance on a consistent scale, with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts; and addresses whole-building cleaning and maintenance issues, indoor air quality, recycling programs, exterior maintenance programs, and systems upgrades.

“We are very pleased with Bentall Centre achieving LEED certification as it illustrates Canderel and the Owner’s ongoing commitment to sustainable performance. We believe that LEED-certified buildings greatly contribute to creating a greener, healthier and more productive work environment for our clients.”, said Canderel’s Vice-President, Western Canada, Bryce Margetts.
