Security & Life Safety
Security Personnel
The Bentall Centre has security personnel on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days per week to safeguard the complex. Security control centres are also located in Bentall Five and Bentall Four, monitoring building emergency systems and surveillance cameras throughout the complex.
Should you notice any suspicious activity or encounter an emergency situation please contact Bentall Security immediately at 604-661-5068.
Other ways to contact building security:
- red fire phones located by stairwells including parkades
- intercom in elevators
- information phones in main lobbies
- intercom at entrances to buildings
The Bentall Centre has a full-time Security Services Manager on site to oversee and coordinate security and life safety services. He is also available to meet with tenants individually to discuss the security of their operations.
Building Access
The buildings are open 7:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, tenants require a building access card for entry into the buildings and for elevator access to their suites.

Life Safety Systems
The Bentall Centre has fire and life safety procedures in place to ensure the safety of your personnel. The Centre is equipped with emergency telephones on every floor and throughout the parkades. These telephones are also monitored 24 hours a day and are backed up by two separate emergency power systems. The complex is also fully sprinklered and equipped with a state of the art computerized fire alarm system, monitored 24 hours a day, both on site and remotely.
Emergency Warden Training
According to the National Fire Code, all offices must have a minimum of two employees trained in emergency procedures that are able to act as Emergency Wardens to coordinate an evacuation of their area. Tenants with multiple floors must have additional employees trained for each floor they occupy. Please contact Kevin Soltani for the Emergency Warden training scheduling.
